Updated: Nov 25, 2020

Are you a research enthusiast?

su-re.co offers opportunities for research enthusiasts like you to deepen your knowledge and skills by taking part in a research internship at our company. su-re.co is a think-do-be tank company that uses science as part of decision making and finding solutions through innovation.

su-re.co provides a multi-cultural environment where interns come from all over the world from various countries and various educational backgrounds, allowing us to be able to learn a lot from each other, as can be seen in the photo below.

This photo shows us practicing our presentation for the 4th Annual Sustainability and Resilience Workshop and receiving feedback from other members of su-re.co on how to better improve it.

Meet Meredith, Our Research Assistant Intern!

Meredith Holland, who is pictured below, is one of our Research Assistant Interns who has been working with us since July 2019. Meredith is a recent graduate from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, USA where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. As a research assistant, Meredith is working with the research team on projects related to climate change adaptation/mitigation strategies and clean energy.

After joining us for 4 and a half months, she said she was able to gain so many experiences and enjoyed the opportunities that were given like creating professional and quality papers. “This has helped to boost my confidence in my work and improve my writing skills, while also providing me with invaluable experience with the involvement in research publications,” she said.  We believe everybody deserves a chance to boost their skills and ability. As part of the research team, Meredith was given a chance of representing su-re.co at the 4th Sustainability and Resilience workshop.

Together with Fabian, the presented policy recommendations to the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), among other government agencies and policymakers. “It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, pushing me out of my comfort zone with public speaking and interacting directly with policymakers and governmental agencies; this is an opportunity I would never have the chance to experience elsewhere at such a young stage in my career. Through this experience, I was able to really feel first-hand how su-re.co is making an impact and it was truly so incredible that I could be a part of it” she added

For those who would like to take the leap, Do it!

“The experience you will have will be the most incredible and life-changing experience you could ever imagine! Although it has its ups and downs, you will learn so much about yourself in the process. You will meet so many amazing people and expand your knowledge and understanding of so many things” closed Meredith
