The su-re.college programme offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain direct practical experience with su-re.co's work related to climate change and sustainability issues.
This program allows you to get experience both online and onsite.
Those who want to learn and get exposed to real projects related to climate change and sustainability issues. There are some offline positions required to be based in Bali. Please read carefully.

THINK-RESEARCH PROGRAMME
Start & duration: as soon as possible, at least 3 months
Place: Worldwide (online) or Canggu, Bali, Indonesia (Onsite)
Type of contract: Unpaid
In this program, you will get involved in research and consultancy activities related to climate change and sustainability issues. Some activities include data analysis, writing papers, proposals, or other relevant assistance. su-re.co offers the opportunity to hone research thinking and skills while applying them to a real-world context by engaging with various stakeholders such as governmental bodies, research institutes, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and local communities.

Key Experiences:
Collect and analyse data and information from various resources and stakeholder engagements, including field visits, interviews, or surveys;
Deploy research skills in writing reports or research/consultation proposals;
Exercise proactive learning during stakeholder engagements with research institutions, government agencies, local communities or other relevant stakeholders;
Channelling the knowledge from research to do-and be-tank (such as involving as a moderator or facilitator in events).

Eligibility :
You are studying or have graduated in environmental studies, international relations, economics, engineering, or relevant majors;
Proven knowledge of good research command and ethics as well as report writing;
Exceptional English skills in reading, writing, and speaking;
Have international and remote work experience – ability to work in a multicultural environment;
Provide an English writing sample.

DO-ENGINEERING PROGRAMME
Start & Duration: as soon as possible, at least 3 months
Place: Worldwide (online) or Canggu, Bali, Indonesia
Type of contract: Unpaid internship.
This position will support several projects related to engineering activities under su-re.co Do-Engineering tank, particularly developing portable biogas digesters.
In 2021, we are starting a project funded by IKI Small Grants under Germany's Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and GIZ. The project’s objective is to support farmers in adapting to climate change by giving them access to our biogas digesters as clean energy and climate-smart agriculture practices. This project plans to install more digesters equipped with a carbon offset scheme and climate information across Bali and Flores Island, Indonesia. Through this programme, su-re.co offers opportunities for the young generation to exercise their communication and management skills to solve energy-related issues in poor and emerging economy contexts like Indonesia.
Key Experiences:
Contribute to the design development and installation of our current portable biogas digester;
Exercise communication skills by engaging with local farmers with the potential of biogas and incentivizing them to utilize it;
Exercise communication skills with local companies and buyers about our biogas system;
Deploy transversal scientific thinking and skills to solve socio and technical problems in deploying frugal biogas design in poor and emerging economy contexts.
Learning Outcomes of DO-Engineering Programme:

Portable biogas development and installation;
Communication skills with potential biogas buyers and local farmers;
Practical carbon-market business in the biogas context;

You are studying or have graduated with an Engineering or Natural Science background (e.g., Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Biology, Environmental Studies);
Good level of English;
Ease of adaptation: the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

DO-BUSINESS PROGRAMME

This program is a B2B Sales Business Development role created for students with some sales experience. The idea is to discover the best sales opportunities and practices through a variety of do-business activities with our climate-smart products such as su-re.coffee, su-re.cocoa, etc. su-re.co offers a great opportunity to hone communication and design skills while developing green business in a real-world context with various organizations, communities, and government institutions. We are looking for a driven person with the ability to perform tasks independently.

Performing and reporting marketing and sales analysis;
Supporting the market expansion overseas;
Involving information/communication material and research on topics such as competitive analysis, benchmarking, international trading etc.

You are studying or have graduated in Business Administration / Marketing /International Trade / Entrepreneurship / Management or other equivalent majors;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Exceptional English level is required and Bahasa Indonesia would be an asset);
High energy level, proactive attitude, ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

BE-EVENT & SDG TRAINING PROGRAMME
Start & Duration: as soon as possible, at least 3 months

su-re.co continues to expand its sustainability training with schools and local and international organizations. The main objective of su-re.co's training and events are to give the experience of the current sustainability issues in the world and specifically in Indonesia. These activities consist of knowledge sharing on developing sustainability-related technology/projects.

This programme will allow you to get involved in organising events, training, and education projects related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and environmental issues, particularly sharing what su-re.co has done as a think-do-be tank. Under this program, su-re.co offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge directly to our local and international partnership from government, institution, school, to community and improve transversal training and communication skills – communication, project management, public relations, etc.
Activities:

Apply event and training management skills in event and training scheduling and material preparation for the activities and facilitate activities between stakeholders;

Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings and correspondence, providing updates to stakeholders, and contributing to collective progress and evaluation reports;

Facilitate and organize field visits to farmers, local NGOs, and other potential sites;

Coordinate and liaise with su-re.co (Research, Business, Engineering, and Training Team), local and national stakeholders, companies, and communities, and link up the different activities;

Assist in the design and production of communication materials and other items needed for communication, promotion, and coordination
Output of BE-Event & SDG Training Programme:

Eligibility:

You are studying or have graduated with a Bachelor in Communication, Public Relations, Education, Management, Social, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field. Have at least experience managing educational programs, training, event management, partnerships or work in environmental or similar projects;

Willing to move to and be based in Bali, Indonesia, and to travel around Bali Island;

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both professional written and verbal communication skills;

Has strong interpersonal communication and interest in engaging with students, NGOs, government officials, and local communities in multicultural environments;
