THINK-TANK
Our Story
With scientific background and strategic planning, su-re.co aims to work directly with policy makers and international organizations while simultaneously creating business at grand. We put less weight on pure consultation and advocacy activities compared to strategic thinking and local actions. Thus, su-re.co generates insight to help the public and private sector work hand-in-hand on tackling climate change.

Launched at COP27, BASE simplifies access to climate finance for local communities. The selected projects will receive one-year grants of $40,000 to advance climate solutions at the grassroots level.
EbA-ENHANCED CLIMATE FIELD SCHOOLS FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE (EECCLiRe)
Global EbA Fund, 2022-2024
SEI (Stockholm Environment Institute) will lead a project integrating ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) principles into climate field schools for coffee farmers. The project aims to redesign and integrate EbA principles, agroforestry techniques, local knowledge, and climate-smart technologies into these schools, conducted by the Indonesian Met Bureau (BMKG) and civil society actors like su-re.co. To deepen impacts, alternative technologies like biogas digesters will be introduced to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The project will also explore ecolabelling mechanisms for sustainable coffee production and assist BMKG in developing proactive policies. Ultimately, the project aims to enhance adaptive capacities and strengthen the resilience of rural coffee-dependent communities through ecosystem-based adaptation.
LANDMARC - LAND-USE BASED MITIGATION FOR RESILIENT CLIMATE PATHWAYS (HORIZON2020)
EC Horizon2020, 2020-2024
LANDMARC aims to assess the impacts of land-use based mitigation technologies (LMTs) as net sinks for greenhouse gas by applying unique mixed-methods approach. LANDMARC assesses the potential and feasibility of LMTs in the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector. Indonesia case work on large and small scale compost and biogas sectors.
Renewable Energy Center of Excellence from New Energy Nexus Indonesia
Energy Nexus 2023-2024

JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) is a national research and development Agency
JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) 2023-2024
The study analyzes Indonesia's R&D landscape, focusing on areas of concentration, output, outcomes, and leading researchers. It aims to inform future R&D cooperation, particularly with Japan, by evaluating budgets, expertise, paper and patent numbers, university rankings, technology trade balance, and awards. Understanding policy frameworks and key institutions enriches the analysis, providing insights for strategic collaborations.
Climate Assessment in Manila MRT Line 4 from ADB
ADB, 2024
The Climate Risk Assessment for the Manila Metro Rail Transit Line 4 project entails an in-depth analysis of how climate change could impact various aspects of the proposed transportation infrastructure. This assessment evaluates potential risks such as extreme weather events and rising sea levels, aiming to understand their potential effects on the construction, operation, and long-term sustainability of the Manila MRT Line 4. Through this analysis, the project seeks to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategies to bolster the project's resilience in the face of a changing climate.
