THINK-TANK
Our Story
With scientific background and strategic planning, su-re.co aims to work directly with policy makers and international organizations while simultaneously creating business at grand. We put less weight on pure consultation and advocacy activities compared to strategic thinking and local actions. Thus, su-re.co generates insight to help the public and private sector work hand-in-hand on tackling climate change.

OUR CURRENT PROJECTS
Creating well-thought gifts.

SOUTHEAST ASIAN ENERGY TRANSITION PARTNERSHIP (ETP), BANGKOK TH
UNOPS, 2022
The Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) brings together governments and philanthropies to work with partner countries in the region. ETP is initially focusing on Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, which are the countries in the region with the highest energy demand, a substantial pipeline for fossil fuel−based projects, and significant and cost−effective potential for renewable energy and energy efficiency.

DUE DILIGENCE FOR ROAD PROJECTS IN KALIMANTAN AND CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT
ADB, 2022
The government has prepared a detailed engineering design and related documents for the proposed Phase II TransSouth-South Java Road Project, through ADB: Accelerating Infrastructure Delivery through Better Engineering Services Project. ADB's program for Indonesia 2022-2024 includes the proposed project, with targeted ADB Board approval in 2022.

BIOGAS DEVELOPMENT IN ASEAN ELECTRICITY SECTOR
ASEAN-German Energy Program (AGEP), 2020-2021
The study of “Biogas Development in ASEAN Electricity Sector” covers four main subjects, (i) the status, existing technologies, and potential, (ii) the identification of regulatory and nonregulatory barriers, and (iii) the recommendations of policies and incentives. The study will be complemented by focus group discussion to discuss the findings and obtain inputs from each AMS; and by workshop to disseminate the study

LANDMARC - LAND-USE BASED MITIGATION FOR RESILIENT CLIMATE PATHWAYS (HORIZON2020)
EC Horizon2020, 2020-2024
LANDMARC aims to assess the impacts of land-use based mitigation technologies (LMTs) as net sinks for greenhouse gas by applying unique mixed-methods approach. LANDMARC assesses the potential and feasibility of LMTs in the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector. Indonesia case work on large and small scale compost and biogas sectors.

TIPPING+ -- ENABLING POSITIVE TIPPING POINTS TOWARDS CLEAN-ENERGY TRANSITION IN CCIRS
EC Horizon2020, 2020-2023
TIPPING+ project will explore Social-Ecological Tipping Points (SETPs) in coal and carbon intensive regions (CCIRs). This project will also enhance understanding in the area by providing empirical and comparative insights from at least 20 case studies including Indonesia.

EUROPEAID/154589/DH/ACT/MULTI: INCREASING ACCESS TO POST HARVEST TECHNOLOGIES TO WOMEN FARMER
EC SwitchAfrica Green, SEI 2019-2020
Agriculture is a cornerstone of Kenya’s economy employing over three quarters of the population. The main source of environmental degradation in Kenya is deforestation caused by over-dependence on agriculture fuelled by population growth. A shift to more productive and resource efficient modes of agricultural production with less associated use of synthetic chemicals, pollution and land degradation is required. This is under Dr. Takama's contract with Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).

INITIATIVE ON GOVERNING BIOECONOMY PATHWAYS
SEI 2018 - 2022
The SEI Initiative on Governing Bioeconomy Pathways aims to better articulate the alternative pathways available for bioeconomy development, and to identify the policies, institutions and governance mechanisms that can facilitate each of them.
OUR PRE-LOVED PROJECTS
Although these projects are finished, our gifts remain unforgotten

LOW CARBON DEVELOPMENT AND ADAPTATION ENHANCEMENT SUPPORT IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
2016-2019 JICA
This project is designing new framework (known as JICA FIT2) to support the climate change activities implemented by JICA including both mitigation and adaptation measures. Once the framework is enforced all JICA projects need to assess climate change relevancy. The team also conducts consolidating surveys and training.
