WHAT IS SU-RE.COFFEE?
su-re.coffee is produced from Arabica coffee in Bajawa with altitudes of 1,000 m – 1,650 m above sea level. The variety of our coffee is S795 which is very resistant to pests and diseases. It classified as a specialty Arabica coffee, which the maximum number of physical defects is usually 5% and a maximum moisture content of 12%. The coffee fermentation length is 12-36 hours.
WHERE IS SU-RE.COFFEE FROM? IS THE COFFEE BOUGHT FROM A COLLECTIVE OR FROM INDIVIDUAL FARMERS?
Our coffee is purchased from champion farmers selected by our local partner both in Bajawa, Flores and Wanagiri, Buleleng.
HOW ISÂ SU-RE.COFFEEÂ SORTED? BY WHO?
Farmers are involved in the entire process of producing quality green beans. This includes harvesting the coffee cherries, fermenting, drying, and selecting the best quality green beans for su-re.co.
WHERE ISÂ SU-RE.COFFEEÂ ROASTED?
The green beans of su-re.coffee is roasted at HungryBird, an award-winning coffee roaster based in Bali, using high quality roasting machines, PROBAT that imported from Berlin.
WHICH BREWING METHOD IS THE GRIND BEST SUITED FOR, WHAT IS THE GRIND SETTING?
The grind setting is at metal filter, which is suitable for a variety of methods including French press, Aeropress, and conventional drip coffee.
DOESÂ SU-RE.COFFEEÂ HAVE A GOOD QUALITY?
We ensure that our coffee goes through the right process to maintain its quality. The coffee had been served at the Four Seasons Hotel Jimbaran, one of the world’s finest luxury hotels. Our coffee is also available at Alive Wholefood and DeliBali, and can be purchased directly through our shop on this website.
IS THE PAPER USED IN THE COFFEEÂ DRIP PROCESSED WITH ANY CHEMICALS?
The paper used for the filters are food-grade and certified by the Japan Food Research Laboratories not contain any toxins.
WHAT IS SU-RE.COCOA?
su-re.cocoa is produced from mixed forastero and criollo cacao beans, castor sugar and roasted arabica coffee beans. The cacao beans come from Tabanan, Bali and the crunchy coffee beans inside su-re.cocoa come from Bajawa, Flores.
DOES YOUR CHOCOLATE NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?
The coffee beans inside the chocolate makes it last longer at normal temperatures. And su-re.cocoa will last long until 2 years.
IS YOUR PRODUCT ORGANIC?
Yes, our product is organic. Our farmers are aware of the Climate Smart Agriculture Practices, they only use organic material for their plantations. Our products are also milk, gluten free and our ingredients are from local, not imported.
